Superior diving spots can be found near Flic-en-Flac on the west coast and
also around Trou aux Biches in the north of the island. Marlin, Hammerheads,
Mako sharks , Tiger sharks, silver Barracuda and enourmous Tuna, can all be
seen in the depths. On coral the usual colourful specimens can be enjoyed
up close.
With regard to medical certification for scuba diving in Mauritius Doctor's fees can be a bit high and they may not be available on day one of your holiday. Therefore we advise making sure you bring a dive medical certificate with you.
